Angie Townsend-Jones

Angie M. Townsend Jones was born in Chicago, IL on June 2, 1963, to the parents of the late Sam Henry Jefferson and Mary Lee Jefferson.

Angie was a member of Lawndale Missionary Baptist Church, where she served in the Junior and Senior Choirs. She graduated from Westinghouse High School. She earned her associates, bachelor's, and master's degrees. She was employed with Symphony, for many years as the Vice President of Business Development & Nurse Liaison.

Angie M. Townsend Jones is preceded in death by: Jeffery Jones (Husband), Sam Jefferson (Father), Mary Jefferson (Mother), and Raynard Jefferson (Brother).

Although her journey has ended on earth, she will always be remembered as a free spirit and outgoing person. She was always the life of the party. If you knew her, you would know that she always kept everyone around her laughing. She was also a part of a "sisterhood", from childhood to adulthood, called the "Ladybugs".

Angie M. Townsend Jones leaves behind: Her only son, Zachary Jones; one brother, Sammie T. Jefferson; a special cousin/sister, Pamela Carter; bonus Father, Jessie Smith Sr.; three bonus sisters, Diane Smith, Michelle Smith, and Tion Smith; and a host of family and friends, who loved her dearly.
