Betty Hall was born on February 10, 1950 to the union of John Henry Hall and Cannie Lee Hall in Marks, Mississippi. Betty was the sixth child of eleven children.
Betty is preceded in death by: Her parents; four brothers, John Henry Jr., Jessie James, Frank James and TJ Hall; and one sister, Henri Hall.
Betty accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church of Drew, Mississippi. Betty attended the Drew Mississippi Public School System. Betty relocated to St. Louis, Missouri in 1967 and by 1970 had relocated again to Chicago, IL. Betty liked to cook and was employed for many years as a cook. Betty was a very outspoken person.
Betty departed this life on January 31, 2024 at home.
She leaves to cherish her memories: Her children, Anthony White and daughter-in-law, Cotina White of Texas, Claudine Hall, Daniel Hall both of Chicago; two grandchildren, John Underwood and Sanea Hall; one great grandson, Kahari Hall; three sisters, Dorothy Blankenship of St. Louis, Missouri, Ruthie Blue of Youngstown, Ohio, and Lucy Mae Jenkins of Indianapolis, Indiana; one brother, LG Hall of Indianapolis, Indiana; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
