Charles E. McAfee was born on August 31, 1969 to Dorothy McAfee and Wille Blackwell at Bethany Hospital. Charles E. McAfee was baptized at Far West Church of Christ on Sept ember 25, 1983, by the leadership of Mark Myles Sr.
Charles went to Willa Cather Elementary School and he also attended John Marshall High School. Charles was a great mechanic. If you needed work done on your car, Charles was the man. He loved to fix cars.
Charles started getting sick on April 13, 2024. He passed away at home peacefully with his wife Lolita McAfee by his side. Charles was fighting a long battle with cancer and God came to take him home. He is preceded in death by: His father, Wille Blackwell; two brothers, Emmett McAfee and Henry McAfee; his grandmother, Susie Mae McAfee; and aunt, Emma Jean McAfee.
Charles leaves to cherish: His wife, Lolita McAfee; his mother, Dorothy McAfee; his sister, Christine (Mark) Myles; his three children, Salashia Burns, Kenya McElroy and one son, Koreal Powell; six grandchildren, Nyjaun, Shanell, Josiah, Charles, Markiyah, Korbyn; and six stepchildren, Hubebia Langston, Samuel Stokley, Samantha Stokely Donnell Wilks, Nicole Brandon and Tiffany Ellis; and a host of family and friends.
