David Charles Williams

David C. Williams was born into life on November 28, 1971 in Chicago, IL to Bernice Williams and Charlie Johnson.

As a child Dave loved to draw comic strips, cartoon characters, doodles and just about anything he could put on paper. Dave’s creating art remained a hobby as he got older. Dave was a humble man, he loved to talk, laugh and dance, including breakdancing. He also had an infectious sense of humor and loved traveling with his love Zenobia Shelby.

Dave worked at Chicago Lighthouse since 2017 as a print room operator, designing clocks and banners for consumer markets. He also held positions as a die-cutter and materials handler. At work Dave processed about a 100 orders a day, making sure designs and logos are correctly updated and properly branded. Dave liked having creative opportunities.

Dave passed on Tuesday, July 16, 2024.

Dave is preceded in death by: His grandmother, Ernestine Anderson; grandfather, Dock Jefferson; mother, Bernice Williams; father, Charlie Johnson; and brother, Joseph Williams.

Dave leaves to Cherish: His brother, Wilburn Williams (Carol); brother, George Williams (Sheena); sister, Linda Powell (Benny); girlfriend, Zenobia Shelby; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
