Ella Mae Green was born on August 6, 1948 in Greenwood, Mississippi to Frank Jarden and Angeline Davis. Ella was the eldest daughter of nine children. Ella had endless love for her siblings and did everything in her power to keep them together.
Ella Mae was a hardworking woman. She devoted the majority of her life to working and caring for her family. At the age of 38, Ella received a certificate from Roosevelt University where she became a paralegal.
Ella gave her life to Christ many years ago and was a proud servant of the Lord. She was a member of Kingdom Restoration Christian Center (KRCC) until her final days. Ella was truly a God-fearing woman. She loved everyone she encountered with the love of the lord and spread her knowledge of the heavenly father by speaking highly of his works. Ella always had a listening ear and comforted those in need by providing them with a bible scripture to guide them into the right direction. Ella’s heart was so big and pure, allowing her to be loved and respected by many. She had a remarkable way of making friends feel like family, and children feel like they were her own. Ella always extended her hands to help any and everyone in need. She wanted nothing but the best for everyone around her. The love that she spread filled empty and half full hearts, leaving an everlasting impact in friends, family, and loved one’s hearts.
Ella Mae lived a glorious life. Within her 75 years on earth, despite her hardships, she always had a beautiful smile on her face and her head held high. The strength of Ella Mae is immortalized in the memories she leaves behind, a legacy of resilience and grace.
