Ezell Lorenzo Williams was born on January 30, 1950 in Chicago, Illinois to Dorothy Williams and Harry Lorenzo Williams. He gave his life to Christ at an early age.
Ezell attended Jenner School and later down the line he went to Manley High School, where he graduated. He worked at KFC for years, where he became a manager. He also worked construction.
Ezell was a loving, caring and kind man who loved wearing nice suits and hats and having a good time with family and friends. He loved listening to his music and singing with his family when he got the chance. Ezell was someone who would always tell you the truth, no matter what. He was a joy to have in your life. To know my dad was to love him.
Ezell departed this life on November 9, 2024.
He is preceded in death by: His son, Ezell Lorenzo Townes; his mother, Dorothy Williams; father, Harry Lorenzo Williams; brother, Rodger Williams; and sister, Lorraine G. White.
He leaves to cherish his memories: His loving daughters, Mary Townes and Marquita Jamison; three sisters, Charmain Williams, Cassandra Williams and Earline Williams; one brother, Lanel Williams; four sons, Darrell, Terrell Townes, James and Keenan Jamison; twenty-three grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews whom he loved so much; three special people who shared great memories with him, Patricia Townes, Debra Jamison and Gerald Taylor; and a host of other family and friends.
