Homer acknowledged and knew Christ. He was baptized at #2 New Mt. Sinai M.B. Church, under the leadership of Pastor Woodard Williams. He received his education at Chicago Public Schools.
Homer and Dyann were united in Holy Matrimony on June 11, 2005. They raised a son together, Solomon King.
Homer, also known as “Fancy”, truly loved his family and friends. He also loved dressing, stepping, selling his merchandise and attending his 12-step program.
Homer was called to rest on December 12, 2023.
He is survived by: His wife, Dyann King; his son, Solomon King; his stepchildren, Tameka, Kimyada and Eddie; his cousins, Marilyn (Bob) from Memphis, TN and John King from Chicago, IL; and a host of grand-children, cousins, nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends.
