Roy Lee James was born on May 16, 1954, to the late Elmer Sr. and Florce Dunn in Cairo, IL. He was the eldest of four children.
Roy Lee graduated from Crane High School.
He worked for the United States Post Office and was also a security guard for many years.
Roy Lee attended church and was baptized at an early age. He was a Freemason, and a philosopher of numerology and astrology. He loved to skate, but was best known for his ability to step. He was a master at steppin’.
Sadly, Roy Lee passed away on June 20,2024.He is preceded in death by: His parents;his brothers, Lee Roy and Elmer Jr.;and a grandson, William. He leaves to cherish his memories: two daughters, Latasha (Norval) and Miyoshi (Derrick); his grandchildren, Norval Jr., Jaime and Qwanell (Jasmine); his 5 great grandchildren; his sister, Yvette McClain; four nieces, five nephews, and a host of relatives, cousins, and friends.
