Kathleen Hamiliton Keys

Kathleen Hamilton Keys was born on September 21, 1956 in Chicago, IL. She was born to the loving union of Johnnie & Jessie Mae Hamilton.

Kathleen was full of faith, having confessed her love of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at an early age. She was a true believer. Kathleen was a member of Greater Zion Temple Church of God in Christ.

Kathleen attended Lucy Flowers Vocation High School. Kathleen worked for over forty years in the healthcare field.Kathleen was married to Ester Keys Jr. and God blessed them with four children; Ester Keys III (Bernadette), Lester Keys, Crystal Pondexter (Robert), Damien Keys and Kiera Keys. Kathleen made her transition from this world on January 2, 2025. She is preceded in death by: Her parents and her brothers, Sylvester Hamilton and Gregory Hamilton.

Kathleen leaves to cherish her memories: Five sisters, Johnnie Mae Tobias, Rochelle Ducan, Stephanie Howard, Minnie Hamilton and Tiffany Chatman; three brothers, Larry Hamilton, Darnell Hamilton and Anthony Chatman; fourteen grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; a host of great-nieces and great-nephews; and two special friends, Delores Bank and Carolyn Simmons. Know that Earth has no sorrow that Heaven cannot heal. I pray that God will comfort each one of you.
