Larry Keith Smith

Larry Keith Smith was born on August 18, 1954 to Carrie Sue Jones and John Lee Smith in Chicago, Illinois. He accepted Christ in his life at an early age. Larry graduated from Farragut High School in 1973.

Larry was married to Lillie Dew and from this union three daughters and one son was born. He worked for AMB and other jobs until he officially retired.

Larry loved his children and grandchildren. When there was an event, he was there. He had a smile that made you happy to see him. Larry was known for his cooking, especially his deep-fried chicken wings. People stood in line waiting to get his wings. He also enjoyed playing basketball and was in a group named “Goodfellas.”

On November 27, 2024, God opened his doors and accepted Larry with open arms.

He leaves to cherish his memories: His wife, Lillie; his three children, Tina, Nina and Larry Jr.; his stepson, Johnny; his brother, John Lee; his grandchildren, Trina, Deja, Brianna, Brian, Malik, Ciara, Makylah, Taylor, Tristan, Naomi, Larry III, Landon and great-grandchild, Kai; sisters-in-law, Bertha and Carrie; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He is preceded in death by his oldest daughter, Teresa, his mother and father.
