Lillian Gross-Williams was born on April 9, 1945 in Eupora, Mississippi to the late Ora Lee and Alfred Lafayette Greenlee.
Lillian was one of eleven children that included John Howard, Jimmie Lee, Joe Willie, Alfred Lafayette Jr., Cather Mae, Bonnie, Lola, Ann Lois, Marcia Dell and Corrina.

Lilliam later moved to Chicago, where she was a loving wife to Diamond Williams, who preceded her in death. She was also a doting and devoted mother to her eight children.

Lillian departed this life on June 1, 2024.

She leaves to cherish her memories: Her children, Troy, Denise, Linda, Glenda, Dennis (Tyrone), Kelvin and Toni (son, Roy Lee preceded her in death); grandchildren, Jennifer, Shanelle, James, Tenika, Tashina, Keisha, Rommel, Crystal and Jase (granddaughter, Jessica preceded her in death); friends, Wilma Frazier, Francine Jones and Nell; and a host of family and friends.
