Linda F. Campbell was born on May 10, 1954 in Portagevill, Missouri to Hubert and Curlie Mae Campbell. She was raised by her mother and her stepfather Robert Tisdel, whom she called Daddy.
Linda was affiliated with Kingdom Hall as a Jehovah’s Witness. Linda graduated from Westinghouse Area Vocation High School in 1972. She had a long career with the Internal Revenue Service for thirty years before she retired.
Linda loved barbecues, the Chicago Bulls and old school dusties. She was very close to her baby sister, Fayetta and had a fond relationship with her nieces and nephews. She loved them like they were her own children.
Linda left this earth on April 1, 2024 at West Suburban Hospital. She is preceded in death by: Her mother, Curlie; father, Hubert; her stepfather, Robert; and brothers Curtis “Donnie” and Hubert “Junior”.
She leaves to mourn: Her baby sister, Fayetta “Faye” Tisdel; two sisters-in-law, Catherine Campbell (Hubert) and Trieste Campbell (Donnie); nieces and nephews, Curtis, Big Rob, Roderick, Lonzo, Lil Hubert, Curtrina, Teresa, Lil Robert, Cheryce, Joseph, Justin, Valerie and Vanessa; great nephew, Robeyon Campbell, with whom she had a special bond; and a host of family and friends.
