Mrs. Lucille Levy died at the age of 92 on May 15, 2024 at 2:30 pm in Chicago, IL surround by family. She was born on August 16, 1931 to Isabel and Fred Wilson in Canton, Mississippi.

Lucille attended the Public School of Sharon, Mississippi. Lucille married McKinley Levy and from that union they had six children. Lucille worked at Stewart -Warner in Chicago, IL for over 20 years until the company closed in 1990.

Lucille gave her life to the Lord Jesus Christ at an early age. She attended Lee’s Chapel AME Zion Church in Sharon, Mississippi, she had no church home in Chicago.

Lucille favorite things were spending time with her family and playing the slot machines nothing gave her more joy.

Lucille is survived by: Her children, Allen (Vickie) Levy, Faye Williams, Detrich (Willie) Powell and Stephanie (Raymond) Austin; twelve grandchildren, seventeen great -grand - children and nine great -great -grandchildren; two siblings, John (Lillian) Wilson and Henry (Josie) Wilson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by: Her parents, Isabel and Fred Wilson; seven siblings, Fred Lee Wilson, Fannie Bell Jones, Bertha Wilson, Clara Drain, McCoy Wilson and JP Wilson; and two children, Timothy Levy and Gloria Lee
