Mary Katherine Martin was born to John and Sallie Mason on July 21, 1944. She was born in Chicago, IL.

Mary graduated from Farragut High School. Mary worked at Walgreens as an associate for over 30 years before retiring.
Mary had two sons, Rodney and Raymond, whom she adored. Mary met Kevin Martin and the two were wed on January 10, 1985.

Mary enjoyed listening to music, doing crossword puzzles, food, family and taking long walks.

Mary departed this life on December 24, 2023. She is preceded in death by: Her parents, sisters, brother, husband and sons.

Mary leaves to cherish her memories: Her nieces, Donna, Lilette, Lonette, Gwen (John), June (Donald) and Janet;
nephews, Kenneth (Mary) and John III; granddaughters, Harriet, Rasida, Erica, Tyisha, Madison and Caitlyn; grandsons, Rodney Jr and Roman; great-grandchildren, Yara, Chase, Seven, Malachi, Makell, Delani, Asia and Amelia; and a host of other family and friends.
