Raymond Louis Cox

Raymond Louis Cox was born in Chicago, Illinois on October 3,1966 to Delores Cox and James Fields. He completed his education through the Chicago Public School System.

Raymond has always been a little “GIANT”. He had a free and adventurous spirit. He moved from Chicago to Missouri as a young man. He accepted Jesus Christ into his life as his Lord and Savior during his residence there.

Raymond is preceded in death by: His brother, William Cox; late wife, Denise Cox; and two of his four stepsons, Patrick and Fitzgerald.

Raymond married Ellena, moved back to Chicago and during this time they became faithful members of Heritage International Christian Church, under the leadership of Bishop Dwight Gunn, until moving back to Missouri.

Raymond is survived by: His loving wife, Ellena Harris Cox; two stepsons, Brian and Terrell Harris; two brothers, Johnny and Darnell Cox (Sheila); one sister, Idella Cox; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. He was a proud grandpa to 17 grandchildren with whom he had an awesome relationship and loved dearly.
