Rodney Williams was born to the union of John and Mary Williams on April 10, 1969 in Mound Bayou, Mississippi. Rodney was the first born of three children. He is preceded in death by his two sisters, Cassandra Powell and Michelle Powell.
Rodney began his Christian journey very early in life. He accepted Christ and was baptized at the age of 12. Rodney graduated from Marshall High School in 1982.
After graduation, Rodney worked at Monroe Pavillion for over 6 years. There he started out as a Dietary Aide and later became a Cook, after receiving his Food Service Certification. However, Rodney's greatest passion was working on old cars and plumbing.
Rodney leaves to cherish his memory: His father, John Williams Jr. of Mansfield, OH; his mother, Mary Williams of Chicago, IL; three children, Darren Edwards of St. Paul MN, Syeda Williams of North Ville Ml and Shakyra Williams of Houston TX; five sisters, Litchelle Brown of San Antonio TX, Angeline Harmon (David) of Chicago IL, Talessia Williams Anderson of Gary IN, Anetta Butter of Clarksdale MS and Aveona Alatten of Mansfield, OH; one brother, John Powell of Mansfield, OH; seven grand-children, loving aunts and uncles and a hosts of nieces and nephews, family and friends
