Stephanie Renee Carroll

Stephanie Renee Carroll entered this world on May 28, 1971, to the loving parents of Arthur and Carrie Carroll that preceded herin death. Stephanie transitioned to heaven on Sunday, April 7, 2024, at the University of Chicago Medicine at 5:29 pm in Chicago,Illinois.

Stephanie was born and raised on the West side of Chicago, where she attended Resurrection Grammar School, Holy Name Cathedral High School and graduated from the Illinois Institute of Technology where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science. Stephanie had a fulfilling and esteemed career at CVS/Caremark for 28 years as a Computer Programmer and Manager.

Stephanie was a loving sister, compassionate cousin, devoted partner, cherished friend, and remarkable mother. Stephanie prided herself on providing the best opportunities for her children, family, and friends. Stephanie would often greet others with her amazingsignature smile and a charismatic “Hey Girl”.

Stephanie’s legacy will continue through her three daughters, Nayanna Smith (21), Nashay Smith (16), and Nya Smith (15). She leaves Nathan Smith (partner), Aaron and Ester Carroll (brother and sister-in-law), Kimberly Carroll (sister), Stephen Hubert and Aaron Carroll Jr. (nephews), Brandi Banks (niece) and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends to mourn her passing.
