Venice Jean Smith was born to Willie Mae Parker on August 21, 1965 in Chicago IL. She was the third out of five children.
Venice is preceded in death by: Her sister, Gloria Parker; her grandmother, Lady B Smith; her brother, Anthony Parker; and her granddaughter, Mashane Leola Thompson.
Venice went home to be with the Lord on November 3, 2024. Venice accepted Christ at an early age.
Venice attended Rising Grammer School and she attended Austin High School in Chicago, IL. Venice was a wonderful and loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. Venice loved to cook and she loved her Television Shows (Law and Order SVU, Chicago PD ). Venice also loved drinking her 211 Beers. Venice was wonderful in many ways. She was also loved by many. Venice, also known as “Big Jenny,” would make you laugh until you cried. Venice was well known everywhere she went. You would know she was coming because you would hear her a mile away.
Venice leaves to cherish her memories: Her mother, Willie Mae Parker; three daughters, Shantavia, Natasha and Angela; her sister, Kimberly Jackson; her brother, Charles; her grandkids, Tashane, Martell, Montrell, Malik, Malaysia, Mercedes and her favorite outta them all, Snooda Doodoo (a.k.a. Marcus Jr.); and a host of cousins, uncles and friends.
